Stop the Resistance Contest

Who may enter? Any child or youth ages 6 through 18 who resides in Nevada.

Possible projects:
1. Write a paper.
2. Draw a poster.
3. Do a science project.
4. Present another creative effort.

Suggested topics:
1. Bacterial Resistance to ANTIBIOTICS
2. How is bascterial resistance a world problem?
3. What can each citizen do to prevent bacterial resistance?
4. What are other related problems of bacterial resistance in our food, epidemics, or other health problems in the news?

Requirement
Student must do a project on their own or as part of a school assignment. Student will have verification certificate completed and signed by an instructor or parent. If possible, student will attach the paper, photo of project or references used in creating the project. Student will mail in certificate.

Rewards
Student will receive:
1. A canvas book bag.
2. NAA Stop the Resistance button.
3. Certificate of Recognition.
Project begins April 1, 2004 and end March 31, 2005.
