Health Information Manger
Tess Peterson is the Health Information Manger at Nevada Public Health Foundation (NPHF). In this capacity, Tess works closely with the Division of Welfare and Supportive Services (DWSS) to provide Statutory Rape Awareness Training’s all over the state of Nevada, in addition to providing S.T.A.R.S. training’s to pregnant and parenting teens on welfare. Tess also plays a vital role in coordinating the annual DWSS conference for welfare social workers.
As the Health Information Manger, Tess believes that one of the best ways to combat Nevada’s public health concerns is to provide education outreach opportunities to Nevadans using scientifically based, medically accurate information.
Tess was born and raised in Arizona. She attended Arizona State University, where she received a Bachelors degree in Social Work. She is passionate about helping our communities most vulnerable populations.
