In 2009, United Health Foundation ranked Nevada 45th worst in the nation for overall public health, three points worse than 2008. Nevada continues to be plagued by poor public health per-person spending, poor lifestyle choices, poor access to primary care, poor immunization rates and more.

The NPHF board recently completed a planning retreat paving the way to target key health indicators for Nevada communities and the people who make Nevada their home. Our 4Word Thinking campaign will help address these critical indicators.
