Marena Works, MSN, MPH, RN
Marena is the Director for Carson City Health and Human Services (CCHHS), a position she has held since June, 2008. Previous to this position she worked as the clinic manager for CCHHS and as Chief School Nurse for the Carson City School District from 2001-2005. Marena earned her Master’s of Nursing and Public Health in 2007 from the University of Nevada, Reno and her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 1995. She holds a certification in Public/Community Health Nursing from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. In addition to serving on the NPHF board, Marena is also appointed to the Maternal and Child Health Advisory Board and the Health Information Technology Blue Ribbon Task Force for the State of Nevada.
