Building a healthy future for Nevada
Nevada Public Health Foundation serves to strengthen the health of Nevadans through statewide partnerships that build public awareness, implement statewide programs and projects, and promote actions to address public health needs. Our targeted efforts include education and building capacity to provide more resources to our communities.
We believe that a healthy Nevada provides accessible and affordable healthcare, reduces and eliminates food insecurities, offers affordable insurance for all, and has an environment that is safe to breathe and live in.
Our Goals
- Provide excellent education opportunities through conferences or continuing education.
- Continue to build capacity through networking and partnering with public agencies to improve their services.
- Fundraise to offer more UNR and UNLV scholarships to help improve the public health workforce.
- Continue to be a leader in public health.
